The Girl
In The Green Swimsuit
A campaign inspired by a real story that spread the message: "Every Body is Ready for the Summer”
The swimsuit, a symbol of freedom for women since its inception, had become an anxiety-inducing piece for women feeling uncomfortable with their bodies. This campaign for Natura Tododia’s daily moisturizer aimed to make the swimsuit a symbol for freedom once again with the message: “Every body is ready for summer”.
We started things off with an unbranded action sharing revealing data about how much women feel insecure with their own bodies, while raising a question: “Is there really a thing such as a summer body ready?”
We invited content creators to inspire women with the message "Every Body is Ready for the Summer," highlighted by the open letter Dear Girl in the Green Swimsuit by Spanish author Jéssica Gómes, capturing the feeling many women feel in swimsuits.
The letter was shared by influencers, featured in podcasts, and adapted into a short film by Maria Farinha Filmes.
“Dear Girl in the Green Swimsuit” is about an unknown girl wearing a green swimsuit at the beach. She was with some friends, and while everybody was having a good time, she was clearly embarrassed about exposing her body.
The green swimsuit became a symbol of body acceptance to Brazilian women over the summer.
